If you try to purchase a book and the transaction fails for any reason, you will get an error message confirming that the transaction was not completed, and that no charges have been made to your account. This means that the transaction you attempted was not completed according to our system.
If a charge for an incomplete transaction appears on your bank account nonetheless, then your bank has incorrectly processed a "void transaction". This happens occasionally, and in general the transaction disappears from the account within a day or so. If it is still showing on your account after 24 hours, we recommend you contact your bank to let them know there is an error, and request that they correct the transaction.
If you would like us to look into the matter further, please contact us and tell us the title and author of the book and the date and approximate time of your failed transactions, as well as your region so that we can allow for time zones. Since the transaction was not successful according to our system, we have no record of it in your account.
